Session Notes

A weekly practice journal for singers

If you’ve ever sat down to practise and wondered where to start (or finished a session and forgotten what you did), this one’s for you.

Session Notes gives your practice a bit of shape. Plan your week, keep track of what you try each day, and take a few minutes at the end of the week to notice what’s working. Small, regular notes add up to a much clearer picture of your progress.

It’s a four-page A4 journal that you can print out, or fill in on your laptop or tablet.

What’s inside

  • My week: your songs, your exercises, this week’s intention, and a seven-day grid to note what you practised and how it felt

  • Looking back: three things that went well, one thing for next week, and space for what you heard, felt, and saw

  • Lyric and text work: a page to dig into the story of a song, line by line

  • Active listening log: notes on singers you love, and what you might borrow from them

Who it’s for

Singers of any style and level, whether you have lessons, sing in a choir, or practise on your own. Rest days and quiet listening count too, so it’s designed to fit around real life, not to make you feel behind.
